BERTIM was promoted between other similiar projects during this year' iteration of Sustainable Places, one of must significant conferences gathering scientific authorities in the field of Buildings and Construction Research. It has been held in Aix-Les-Bains, France, 27-28.06.2018.

 In the cycle of lectures, workshops, discussions and matchmaking events for scientific construction enviroment representatives, were presented those European projects related to the ideas of energy efficiency, low carbon economy, smart cities and new trends of retrofit design, which represents most revolutionary approach in the area of modern /ecological buildings. So BERTIM was promoted as well.

Sustainable Places is one of the most significant, European scientific conferences in the field of modern buildings and construction research. Once a year it gathers stakeholders from leading organizations around the world to advance the state of art and play role in one of the greatest challenges that our societies and their urban planners have ever faced: The need to enhance the sustainability of places ensuring long-term environmental security.

Bertim kommer att utveckla prefabricerade lösningar som möjliggör renoveringar för ökad energiprestanda, luftkvalitet, utseende, komfort och byggnadsvärde, tillsammans med ett mycket lågt intrång och störande arbete under själva renoveringsarbetet.

Tillverkningen av lösningarna kommer att ingå i en helhetsmetodik för renoveringsprocessen, från datainsamling till installering.

Metodiken baseras på ett digitalt dataflöde i BIM och kommer att implementeras i mjukvaran RenoBIM, vilken kommer att medföra minskad renoveringstid, anpassad massproduktion och lägre investeringsrisk.
