BUILDING ENERGY RENOVATION THROUGH TIMBER PREFABRICATED MODULES

Business models discussion, technical details of main project's progress results and final conference preparation - this was, in general, the content of BERTIM #6 General Assembly, held in Stockholm, Sweden (28th - 29th of November 2019) and organized by RISE - project Consortium member in the company headquarters. All Partners  discussed main project's achievements, putting special emphasis on presenting of particular phases of BERTIM solution components testing.

Particular technical Partners presented current results of their measurements and tests. While TECNALIA  and SETRA focused on modules installation testing results (TECNALIA was testing 3D models of timber panels to be installed on the pilot site building in Madrid, virtually) - TUM and POBI reported current works on modules installation methods. FCBA presented possibilities of potential certification of BERTIM products, while ASM moderated discussion on possible business models and exploitation strategy of the holistic BERTIM solution as well as for Reno BIM deployment.TECNALIA reported also current performance of RenoBIM validation.

Part of General Assembly in Stockholm was also dedicated to the planning of preparation of BERTIM Final Conference, which tentatively is going to be organized in the frame of 9th International Wood Construction Forum (FBC - Forum Bois Construction) 2019, from April 3 to 5, in Epinal, Nancy, in France. More information on this event will be available soon.
