Kepa Itturalde, an expert from TUM (BERTIM Consortium member), presented and promoted the project during the significant scientific conference in the field of modern research: ISARC 2018, which was held in Berlin, Germany, between 23rd and 25th of July. The presented paper (https://isarc2018.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/) was entitled "Integrated, automated and robotic process for building upgrading with prefabricated modules" and can be found here: http://www.iaarc.org/publications/fulltext/ISARC2018-Paper083.pdf
Asier Mediavilla Intxausti, an expert of TECNALIA Research & Innovation (BERTIM coordinating Partner), presented the achievements of BERTIM project during the 1st “BIM and energy performance of buildings” conference, 25th of June in Brussels, Belgium.
The event, organized in Brussels by QUALICHECK platform as a result of an EU project, addressed how BIM tool can help to achieve more energy efficient buildings and main challenges to integrate BIM with energy simulation and compliance checking activities.
BERTIM was promoted between other similiar projects during this year' iteration of Sustainable Places, one of must significant conferences gathering scientific authorities in the field of Buildings and Construction Research. It has been held in Aix-Les-Bains, France, 27-28.06.2018.
Ideas of BERTIM will be presented during the forthcoming, 8th edition of ICAE: International Congress on Architectural Envelopes. The paper, commonly prepared by members of project's Consortium (TECNALIA, TUM), entitled "Assessment method for developments in building envelope renovation with prefabricated modules", is strictly connected with BETRIM achievements.
